Independence Memorial Day Parade

The parade starts promptly at 10:30 am
The annual Independence Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 26, 2025. The parade route runs from Memorial Park in Independence to the historic Kenton County Courthouse. The parade is sponsored by The American Legion Moon Brothers Post 275. The City of Independence helps to coordinate the parade and the parade route.
Please come early and set up your chairs anywhere along the parade routes. A 21 gun salute will be held at Independence Cemetery, St. Cecilia cemetery, and at the memorial in front of the courthouse.
